Exposd helps combat misinformation on the internet. My friend and I created a chrome extension that utilizes the IBM Natural Language Processing machine learning platform and API along with a custom KGCN framework implementation (using tensorflow). The extension scans web pages with news or text and checks the validity of the text and detects false or misleading claims with no evidence, highlighting these statements and giving percentage values of truthfulness. The extension also detects how opinionated a piece of text is. The project was done within a 48 hour period.
