WWDC 2020

June 10, 2020

In the spring of 2020, I created a Swift Playground and applied to Apple’s WWDC Swift Student Challenge (WWDC Scholarship Program). I created an interactive game that emulates an old-school computer terminal utilizing 3D graphics, text-to-speech, keyboard input, and more. Apple only selects 350 applicants in this worldwide competition. According to their website, they judge technical accomplishment, creativity of ideas, and content of written responses related to the Playground and how you share your coding knowledge and enthusiasm for computer science with others. I was selected as a winner.
